It was not the best trip we have had to Varanguer yesterday. In Manchester we were told the plane was full even though we had booked months ago. We were then told they could get us onto the plane but 3 of the group would have to be upgraded. We boarded the plane and then sat on the runway for a full hour, something to do with the cargo. Whilst we waited it poured with rain and we did not realise the consequences of this until we finally got to our accommodation in Norway. What ever the problem was with the Cargo it meant they had to offload it and then reload it before we could take off. When it was unloaded it sat on the runway in the rain and all the contents of my bag and others was soaking wet. Not a good Start, especially when bedding was involved.
A big thank you from Ovre Pasvik Camping management for getting us onto the internet, without which I would not be able to write these blogs.
Today we went to the new ringing site which is huge. Feng's team who came last week had done a lot of work opening rides and erecting nets and were unfortunate in some ways because they had some bad weather which prevented them from going out.
Today was pleasantly warm with little wind and the chart below outlines our catch

No pictures today because I was not able to download them, but hopefully the signal strength may be better tomorrow .
