This Hawk Owl also sat in a tree overlooking our ringing site.
Shortly after taking this picture the owl took to the air and flew across the river into Russia.
This Three Toed Woodpecker was aged as an adult because of two generations of primary feathers that can be seen in the photo. The lack of yellow on the head indicates it is a female.
This is one of three Little Buntings today.
I don't think I could ever get bored with Siberian Tits. This is the fourth bird caught since we arrived.
Today was our best day for Redstarts. Seven in total being caught.
